Well that didn’t take long. Britney Spears is getting the boot from X-Factor.

Why you ask ? Spears’ $15 million contract, which sources say the low-energy mentor hasn’t earned. “They paid all that for her to say ‘amazing’ and offer half-claps,”

Maybe any press isn’t always good press? Country singer, LeAnn Rimes, seemed drunk, unstable and looked like a hot mess on the X Factor stage last Wednesday as she was performing her hit “How do I live” with finalist Carly Rose Sonenclar. Not to mention, LeAnn stumbled a couple of times and tried to out sing the 13 year old, often shouting. She sounded horrible! Check out the embarrassment below!

Thanks to Game 3 of the National League Championship Series, X Factor started 40 minutes late due to a rain delay on the East Coast. This had Simon Cowell tweetin’ mad:

“Have no idea what is happening to the schedule tonight. Have heard the whole episode will be shown next Tuesday. Sorry,” Cowell said before adding:  “It what’s known as a total F-up.”

Today is day 2 of the X Factor auditions and it looks like Britney Spears is doing great! Spears apparently did not storm off the stage and she said, “I am having the most incredible time and love being able to sit next to Simon at the judging table.”

There has been great responses through Twitter like, “@britneyspears is doing really good at today’s auditions.”

It looks like Britney Spears will be making an announcement on Monday regarding her decision to join the X Factor. So far she hasn’t officially signed that we know of.

It looks like Simon Cowell wants Jessie J to be a judge on the UK edition of the X Factor. Jessie J is currently working as a judge on the UK’s The Voice.

Cowell said, “I love that girl. She’s one of the best things to come out of British music in years. I want to snap her up.” He is also willing to triple her current salary.

Britney Spears is supposedly finalizing a deal with the X Factor to be a judge on the show. Agent and fiance, Jason Trawick, is reportedly in the final stages of her contract.
