I hate movie remakes…
Movie remakes/reboots are one of the things I just can’t stand for the most part. Most of the time the remake/reboot is nowhere near as epic, original (obviously), engaging, creative, etc.. as the original film. I seem to be noticing a lot more these days and it just leaves me irate.
The upcoming reboot of the Spider-Man franchise is one really good example. Why does this need to be remade so soon?!?!?
I’m not totally against them as I enjoy both versions of Let the Right One In (that was remade in the U.S. as Let Me In) as both offered an interesting take on a lately Twilight-covered genre. -_- I can actually say that the U.S. version even fixes some of the minor flaws I saw with the original, but this is one of the few exceptions to an otherwise steadfast rule for remakes/reboots.
How do you feel about movie remakes/reboots? Call up and be heard!
