Queens of the Stone Age’s guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen has revealed that the band’s new album will be rooted in the blues and should make fans “shake some arse.” This will be the band’s sixth album.

There were rumors floating around that the band’s new album will be released in the summer but they are in no rush to finish the record. Van Leeuwen explained, “We’re at the early parts of the record, there’s still some writing going on. We’re a band that doesn’t push things, things naturally happen.”
