Movie Mayhem
Do you remember when going to the theater was an experience? Even up to a couple of years ago the movie theater offered you a widescreen experience that television just couldn’t replicate. That’s not true today and even the latest craze of 3D is not exclusive to the movie experience.
From my perspective, the movie theater has a tough enough route to traverse to maintain its relevance as a social option that it is ironic that I find not the theater prices or theater operations as the main issue that keeps me from being a regular attendant, but the moviegoers.
I remember years ago being distracted by two younger moviegoers that seemed to enjoy throwing their candy at each other (as expensive as that stuff is!!!) than the movie. Have you had a similar experience happen to you?
What is keeping you from either going to or enjoying the movie experience these days? Is it the price, the patrons, the movies’, or something entirely different?
I’m hanging with you until 11pm so give me a call and tell me what bugs you about going to the movies.
