Recently, Adele talked to a radio station about her plans for a new album. She plans on releasing a new single by the end of the year, but this doesn’t mean that she is almost done working on the album. Adele said it will take her a good two years to complete it.
Adele stated, “If I didn’t write my own songs, I’d be out next week with a new album. I have to take time and live a little bit.” We can’t wait!

Maroon 5 has been working on their new album and frontman, Adam Levine said in an interview, “It’s going really well. I’m a busy dude right now. But it’s fun and the record’s I think it’s our best ever, but of course I think that, ’cause it’s ours.”

Macy Gray has been working on a new album that will be called Covered. The album will feature Gray covering songs from artists like Arcade Fire, My Chemical Romance, Radiohead, and so many more.
She also will release a Christmas song that will be free online only on Christmas. This new album is due in March.
Madonna made a clothing line for tweens and now she is creating one for their mothers. This new fashion line will be called “Truth or Dare by Madonna.” The women aimed for this line is 27 to 50 years old. Madonna said, ”Over the past several years, I have been approached countless times to create my own brand.”
She is also working on her movie called “W.E.” and her new album. The new album will be released next spring, as well as her clothing line.
Before Amy Winehouse died, she was working on a new album. Her new album is being released on Dec. 5th. The album will be titled, ‘ Lioness: Hidden Treasures’.
The unreleased material will be on this and so will alternate versions of her hits.
NBC announced on Monday who will be hosting and performing on Saturday Night Live in October. On Oct. 8th, Ben Stiller will be hosting and Foster the People will be the performers. On Oct. 15th, Anna Faris will be the host and Drake will be performing. His performance will be before his new album, ‘Take Care’ is released on Oct. 24th.

Gaga wants the follow up to ‘Born This Way’ to be free to her fans. Her manager Troy Carter says, “What we’re looking to do is not just about selling the CD or the digital file. It’s how many people can we get the music to.”

Kelly Rowland is most famous for being in Destiny’s Child and now, she is doing her own thing. Her new single called ‘Motivation’ is already a hit and she has already talked to her former Destiny’s Child members about her work. Rowland said “Yes, my ladies have heard the album. And they love it, they love it and they’re very proud.”
Rowland explained in an interview that she is on her own with this new album. In this interview, she also talked about the difference in a musical group and going solo.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers decided to come back into music and released their new single ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’ off of their new album ‘I’m With You’. Anthony Kiedis explains, “When I first heard ‘Maggie’, I didn’t know it would be a single. I knew that I loved the jam”.
Sadly, Kiedis doesn’t want to discuss his inspirations to the album. ‘I’m With You’ will be released on August 30th.
