Couple Slapped With a FELONY for Sneaking into the Movies?!

 coupleIndiana couple, Lendsey and Delilha Harbin tried to sneak into the zombie flick “Warm Bodies” when they were spotted by an off-duty police officer.

The officer confronted the couple and asked if they had tickets to “Warm Bodies.” The Harbin’s said they couldn’t find the tickets at first, then finally, Delilha Harbin admitted to never buying tickets saying, “I know we done wrong.” The Harbins said they had been at a funeral all day and “were not thinking correctly” according to the report.

Lendsey and Delilha were both slapped with felony theft of services charges for allegedly not buying the $6.75 tickets required to legally watch the movie and given trespassing warnings.

‘Dark Knight Rises’ Box Office Results on Hold

Warner Bros have decided to postpone reporting the box office sales from The Dark Knight Rises. They will be announced on Monday. The reason behind this is to respect everyone who was involved in the Colorado shooting.

The midnight sales did show that the movie made $30 million.

Ashton Kutcher To Play Steve Jobs For Big Sceen Biopic

Kutcher will play Steve Jobs in a big screen biopic of the late Apple mogul, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

The indie film, “Jobs,” will follow the technology titan’s journey from a Northern California hippie to the co-founder of Apple.

The movie will be directed by Joshua Michael Sten, whose other directorial credits include “Swing Vote” (2008) and “Neverwas” (2005).

Production will reportedly begin right away in effort to beat Sony’s own Jobs biopic, based on the bestselling book by Walter Isaacson.

Kutcher last appeared on the big screen in the ensemble rom-com “New Year’s Eve.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, early shooting will begin on “Jobs” while Kutcher is on hiatus from “Two and a Half Men.”

‘Hunger Games’ Book sells over Millions

Since the movie, ‘The Hunger Games’ was released in theaters, the amount of books that were sold increased. The first book of the series, ‘The Hunger Games’ have sold over $17 million copies. The second book ‘Catching Fire’ sold $10 million copies, and the third book ‘Mockingjay’ sold $9 million.

The movie itself has made $155 million so far and the numbers will only increase.

Box Office Report: ’21 Jump Street’ Wins Weekend Crown With Record $35 Mil

Sony and MGM’s 21 Jump Streetlit up the R-rated comedy marketplace, opening to a stellar $35 million at the domestic box office.

Starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, the light-hearted take on the classic TV series nabbed the best debut ever for a nonsequel, nonsummer R-rated comedy, as well as one of the best bows on the books for an action-buddy comedy or a television-to-film adaptation.

Overseas, Jump Street rolled out in 11 markets, grossing $7 million, including a standout $4.3 million in Australia, where it launched ahead of past R-rated comedies The Hangover, Tropic Thunder and Bad Teacher (also from Sony). In the U.K., it grossed $2.5 million.

Lindsay Lohan’s New Job(s)

Lindsay Lohan has been working so hard to get her career back on top and now she has two new jobs. She has been signed on to host SNL in March and she has been selected to play Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie. Lohan needs to stay out of trouble and she will still have the role.

Lohan’s next court day is Feb. 22nd. We will find out how well she is doing on her probation.

‘I Am Legend’ Follow Up Movie

A follow up to the 2007 movie ‘I Am Legend’ is in the works and Will Smith might return for his role. A lot of people have been talking about if it will be a prequel or a sequel. Arash Amel is writing the script and when it is finished, Arash will give it to Smith.

Originally, ‘I Am Legend’ was going to be a prequel, but that idea got shelved.

‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ Hacks Away at History

This is certainly not the Abraham Lincoln from the history books.

Then again, the title for the new movie “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” makes it clear this will not be just a documentary on the 16th president of the United States.

The recently released trailer for the 3D horror-action film confirms it, with the preview offering a collage of the familiar and the far out.  Lincoln is shown in his trademark top hat and beard, but he also wields an axe he’s not afraid to use.  Watch the trailer below:

Since the trailer was released Monday afternoon, the term “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” has been trending in search and social media as people vie to get the first look at the much-anticipated film.  “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” already has more than 7,500 Twitter followers, and 230 Facebook “likes” and almost 150 “shares” for the trailer. The feedback on Facebook was almost unanimously positive, with many commenters saying they “can’t wait for the movie.”
