Britney Spears’ Manager Talks New Single

It looks like Britney’s manager, Adam Leber is clearing up some rumors about her new single. He went to Twitter to clear everything. “Lot of misinformation out there regarding the release of Brits 1st single. Don’t believe everything you read,” he wrote. “Unless of course it’s an official announcement coming in January. STAY TUNED…..”

“That said, the single is DEFINITELY coming in January. PS- happy new years people,” he said. “Sorry guys, but never pay attention to unofficial announcements. Just trying to clarify. Please don’t ‘hold it against me.’ “

Queens of the Stone Age Set to Return

If you have been waiting for Queens of the Stone Age to return to the studio, you are in luck! Keyboards player Dean Fertita revealed that the band is set to enter the studio in January.

Fertita said, “Everybody seems excited and ready to go. We’ve got so many ideas started already; I guess we’ll see what turns out to be everybody’s favorite. It’s very much still [Josh Homme's] band, but I think all of us really feel like we’ve found our space in it and can contribute to it as well.”

Britney Spears Audition For Dancers

According to a Spears fansite, a notice about auditions for a new Britney video was sent out by her camp. Tryouts were held on Wednesday (December 22), and Spears is looking for male and female dancers to join her in the video for the single, which is set for a January release.

“The dates for the project are still to be determined but it will be happening on either the 9th and 10th of January with rehearsals anytime after Xmas and leading up to those dates or on the 15th and 16th with rehearsals leading in after Xmas as well,” the notice reads.

$50,000.00 up for GRABS???

Junior and Senior High School Students in Northern Ohio can participate in The “Stop The Hate! Youth Speak Out Essay Contest.” One Hundred Thousand Dollars in scholarships will be awarded with one $50,000 scholarship First Place Award. The Essay Program is offered by The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage in Cleveland. Junior and Senior High School Students are asked for their opinion on how to combat acts of hate, discrimination and intolerance. More details can be found at www.maltzmuseum.org. The Entry deadline is January 5th.
