In the days leading up to the “Firework” premiere, Perry dedicated the video to the “It Gets Better” campaign, and she couldn’t be happier that, in the week following its release, the clip has taken on a life of its own, as a beacon of hope for everyone who’s battled bullies or struggled to find themselves.
