R&B singer-songwriter and music executive Ne-Yo, recently revealed he was briefly married at age 19. The marriage ended in an annulment after less than a year. 

Ne-Yo, 30, admits the information isn’t well known because “nobody really asked.” The woman apparently didn’t want Ne-Yo to pursue music and when given the choice, he chose his career.

“[Music] is honestly the only thing I’ve ever loved, so I chose this over her,” he added. “Now I’m here, and I don’t know where she is.”

French Montana denies any involvement with last night’s shooting in Philadelphia.

After his concert Thursday night in Philly, gunfire erupted in front of the hotel where Montana’s bus was parked. Shortly after midnight a black four-door sedan pulled up and a passenger from the vehicle fired several shots. Police say no shots were fired from inside the tour bus. The incident claimed the life of Jowann King, 26, of Flushing, New York, who was fatally shot in the chest. A second unidentified victim was treated and released.

In response to the incident, French states: “My bus was located in the vicinity of the incident that took place away from the venue, last night in Philadelphia…I had a peaceful concert and was not involved. My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to the families of the victims, as well as all of those who were affected.”

As odd as they may look together, Taylor Swift seems to be very smitten of Ed Sheeran.

The night before the Brit Awards, Taylor Swift stayed in a London hotel. Ed Sheeran reportedly showed up to the same hotel and stayed in Taylor’s room until around 4 a.m.

Sheeran and Swift “briefly dated” last spring and are said to have had “great chemistry” together.

Ed Sheeran is the opening act for Taylor Swift on her upcoming Red Tour, so the two will have plenty of time to rekindle the flames.

 Nine former contestants are banding together to sue American Idol, claiming they were all FORCED off “Idol” as part of a racist (and illegal) plot to boost ratings.

James H. Freeman-the attorney representing the contestants- conducted an investigation into the show and found that producers had only publicly disqualified 9 other people from the show since it first hit the air … and they all happened to be black.

Freeman now alleges that “Idol” has been conducting a “cruel and inhumane” scheme to exploit and humiliate black contestants for ratings”.

 Janet Jackson is officially engaged to her billionaire boyfriend Wissam Al Mana.

The third time might be a charm for Jackson, 46, who was previously married to James De Barge and manager Rene Elizondo. She was also rumored to be secretly married to then-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri in 2009.

The couple is planning a lavish $20 million spring wedding, according to reports, that would include flying her family to Qatar on a fleet of private jets.

“She wants kids,” a source told Us Weekly. “If she can’t have them, she will adopt.”

The “Put It Down” singer, 33, is engaged to longtime BF Ryan Press. According to an insider, “They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right.”

The singer spoke to Us Magazine about how Press had restored her faith in men. “I had given up on love a long time ago. It just didn’t seem to work for me, so I was single for a very long time…I stopped looking for love and then I ran into my boyfriend.” Brandy said.

She continued, “He just loves me for who I am. I don’t have to camouflage anything for him or put on a mask. I can completely be myself and he loves me so much and I love him just the way he is, too.”

Lady Gaga has been blasted by animal rights group PETA after she was spotted buying fur coats in Russia.

PETA said in a statement to GossipCop: “… While the country focuses on rejecting violence,… Gaga is busy decking herself out in a coat made of at least 30 slaughtered animals’ skins.”

In response, Gaga wrote on her website: ”I am choosing not to comment on whether or not the furs I purchase are faux fur-pile or real because I would think it hypercritical not to acknowledge the python, ostrich, cow hide, leather, lamb, alligator, ‘kermit’ and not to mention meat, that I have already worn.

Radio stations across the country have pulled Ke$ha’s pop hit “Die Young” and Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” in the wake of the Dec. 14 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

Radio stations from Los Angeles to Connecticut have pulled the song because of its title and chorus.

Ke$ha is claiming that the songs lyrics made her uncomfortable to begin with, but she was forced to sing the song. Ke$ha tweeted Tuesday, “I’m so so so sorry for anyone who has been effected by this tragedy and I understand why my song is now inappropriate. Words cannot express.”

Radio stations have also stopped playing Foster the People’s, “Pumped Up Kicks,” which despite its upbeat tempo, is actually about a homicidal teen — and was reportedly inspired by the Columbine school shooting.
