The story was so popular in 2011 the association between the terms “Christina Aguilera” and “dying grandparent” increased, until it outranked other posts about dying grandparents.
Due to all the success of the show ‘The Voice,’ Christina Aguilera decided to sign on to the show for another season. She said “If they’ll have me, I’d be delighted to be back.”
Aguilera makes $225,000 per episode which is $150,000 more than what her fellow judges. ‘The Voice’ is beginning to rival the still popular show, ‘American Idol.’

Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green have been working on the new show “The Voice.” Now, they hit the studio together to make a duet called ‘Nasty.’ It was just recently that Green went on to Jimmy Fallon’s late night show to confirm this song that was released online.

After fumbling the national anthem in front of millions and then just plain fumbling in public, Christina Aguilera has, incredibly, landed a job.
And it involves being a role model of sorts.
Go figure.
NBC today announced that the newly divorced singer has been named as a musical coach on the new music competition series The Voice.
Aguilera will join Cee Lo and Adam Levine, who will also be coaches on the Carson Daly-hosted series, which launches April 26.

Aguilera's receiving a reaming for her lyrics "the twilight's last reaming"
At yesterday’s Superbowl, Christina Aguilera botched the lyrics to the Star Spangled Banner. Instead of singing “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming,” she improvised “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last reaming.”
Aguilera released a statement soon after, saying, “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”

On February 6th in Dallas, Texas, Christina Aguilera will be singing the National Anthem at the Superbowl. If last year’s game is any indication, more than 153 million people could be on hand to watch the game, which last year had the largest TV audience in history.
“I have been performing the anthem since I was seven years old and I must say the Super Bowl is a dream come true,” Aguilera said. “I am really excited to be part of such an iconic event.”
