Nine former contestants are banding together to sue American Idol, claiming they were all FORCED off “Idol” as part of a racist (and illegal) plot to boost ratings.

James H. Freeman-the attorney representing the contestants- conducted an investigation into the show and found that producers had only publicly disqualified 9 other people from the show since it first hit the air … and they all happened to be black.

Freeman now alleges that “Idol” has been conducting a “cruel and inhumane” scheme to exploit and humiliate black contestants for ratings”.

It appears that Randy Jackson is back in as a judge in American Idol. Enrique Iglesias had turned down the third offering from a music based reality show.

I guess the $4 million just wasent enough.

Simon Cowell had something to say about this he tweeted “Just heard randy is back on idol. Right decision.”

There has been talk of Nicki Minaj joining Mariah Carey on American Idol as a judge. It is not official as of now, but she did tweet, “Ok barbz, getting another x-ray. When I get back, I’ll have a surprise for u. *kisses u, hugs u*”

According to FOX, American Idol’s ratings have been dropping, and they are not pleased about it. Earlier this year, the executives announced they are going to change American Idol.

The President of Fox Networks Group said, “This is still the number one non-sport show in the United States. I would say that any network executive in the country or probably in the world would love to be sitting up here…We are optimistic it’s going to continue on for 15, 16, 17 seasons.”

American Idol contestant, Jermaine Jones was kicked off of the show the other day because of his arrests last year. He currently has an outstanding warrent as well. Jones announced on Twitter, “Awww I will no longer b on the show” and then deleted his his page.

This is the fourth time a contestant on the show got kicked off in the middle of the season. Maybe the show will bring back another contestant in his place.

Simon Cowell of the X Factor challenged American Idol and The Voice to a sing off. Cowell said on Twitter, “…Maybe the winner of @TheXFactorUSA this yr should compete with winner of The Voice & Idol in a super final…”

American Idol’s producer Nigel Lythgoe answered his Tweet and said, “@simoncowell suggests the IDOL winner should take on the Voice and X-Factor winners. The problem is the Idol winner will be a star by then.”

Guess Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony aren’t such bitter exes after all. Filming their talent competition Q’Viva! The Chosen in Puerto Rico Nov. 8, the former couple hooked up, an insider tells Us Weekly. Anthony, 43, was spotted picking up Lopez, 42, at the airport — and “Marc never stayed in his hotel room,” the source says.

And the twosome, who put a fork in their seven-year marriage this past July, are destined to hook up again, pals say. Although Lopez is casually dating backup dancer Casper Smart, one friend predicts she and Anthony ( will be intimate again in December while shooting Q’Viva! “It’s inevitable,” the friend says. Marc has this hold over her.” The split, says the friend has been an “emotional roller coaster” for the superstar. But another pal cautions that an actual reconciliation is not in the cards. “They may sleep together, but they’re over!”

Adam Lambert is being sued for not being eligible to compete on season eight of American Idol. “Under a Music Services Agreement and a Co-publishing Agreement from a company he worked with prior to hitting it big on Idol” said the suit.

Lambert’s alleged former label, Colwell Platinum Entertainment, began marketing a new album called Beg For Mercy without him knowing. His reps have pulled the album.
