Adam Lambert has a new gig and that is the be the new front man for Queen. Back in 2009 the guitarist, Brian May of Queen considered the idea of Lambert permanently being the front man for the band. The band will be touring this summer.

Lambert said, “The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some great songs. It’s to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would have been proud of.”

Adam Lambert was arrested in Finland for getting into a fight outside of a nightclub with his boyfriend. They have both been released from jail.

Lambert tweeted about the incident, but some people were not satisfied with his response. Since then, he tweeted another message about the fight. He said “Violence is not to be taken lightly. Embarrassed by drunkenness. No punches thrown, no injuries and no charges. Media always exaggerates.”

Adam Lambert is being sued for not being eligible to compete on season eight of American Idol. “Under a Music Services Agreement and a Co-publishing Agreement from a company he worked with prior to hitting it big on Idol” said the suit.

Lambert’s alleged former label, Colwell Platinum Entertainment, began marketing a new album called Beg For Mercy without him knowing. His reps have pulled the album.
